Helium Migration To Solana Planned for Q1
Back in November, Helium announced they would be moving to the Solana network and offering its service to the Saga smartphone. Now, they say that the move is planned to be finished in the first quarter of 2023.
At the Solana conference Breakpoint 2022, Helium and Solana Labs announced they were bringing their Helium mobile service to Solana's Saga smartphone, a crypto-oriented mobile phone.
Since the Helium community is awaiting the upcoming migration of the Helium ecosystem to Solana, they shared some updates on Twitter about their transition through their AMA highlights. In the first tweet, they confirm that they are still on track for a launch in Q1.

The first distribution of Saga Smartphones also came this January, with Solana developers eager to show off their new phones. When the mobile network is fully transitioned, US Saga owners would receive a free 30-day subscription to Helium Mobile with unlimited voice and text as a subscriber to the first-of-its-kind service.

Solana Mobile also recently announced Saga Pass Cards are going to be airdropped to Saga Pass holders. Each wallet will get a random card dealt to it, and when redeemed they could grant exclusive rewards depending on the hand played. For more information see their Twitter thread here.
